My Bulldog, Raleigh is about 4 1/2 months old (she was born in late December), and she weighs 22 pounds. She doesn't seem to be overweight or underweight for her size, but a good friend of mine has a bully, Rosco, who is 5 months old and weighs 37 pounds. Granted, Raleigh is a girl and Rosco is a boy, and Rosco's parents are 71 and 50 pounds and Raleigh's parents are 55 and 39 pounds, but this still seems like a huge difference in size to me. The breeder and vet agreed that she'll be small and probably only be about 35-40 pounds fully grown... but is 22 pounds abnormally small for her age? And does anyone think there's a chance she'll be less than 35 pounds fully grown? I know there are a lot of factors and it is impossible to predict, but any ideas on thoughts based on your experiences would be appreciated. Even if you don't really know, if you could give approximate 4-5 month old weights and full-size weights, it would be very helpful... Thanks in advance...

Dogs differ in size.
Dogs, even within a breed, differ in size. The dog's parent's sizes do have a lot to do with it and sometimes, dogs are simply large or small.
It's like with people. I am 5'2". My boss is 7'1". We're both people.(OK, sometimes I wonder about him.) But if your dog is healthy and continuing to grow, I wouldn't worry.
One rule of thumb for adult weight is to take the weight at eight months and add 10 lb. I think your doggie is beautiful!
Yep...
I sometimes wonder about my boss as well :) ...But all kidding aside, I know Bullies tremendously differ in size; I was just looking for some advice. Thanks for the tips.

Ha, ha! Yes, I once saw a female Bully who was 71 pounds... she was a puppy mill rescue and wasn't overweight or anything; she was just a big girl.

Sophia was not a very big puppy.
She weighs about 46 pounds as an adult. Give or take a pound or two at different times.

I know she is BEAUTIFUL : )

Weight and Substance
Here is the big difference. You can have a bitch with light substance that will weigh less then a bitch of the same height with more substance. Substance is the amount of bone.
You have a petite girl and the rule of thumb is actually 10 lbs added to the 6 month weight. If her mom was about 38 lbs and dad around 55 lbs thn she will likely be around 40 lbs. at 4 1/5 months I would suspect she will gain another 10 lbs before she hits 6 months then add 10 lbs to adulthood and she'll be about 40lbs. A nice standard size.
don't remember how much Audrey weighed at 4 months
but as a full gorwn adult she weighs 38 pounds.
this is an old picture but she has been the same weight since she was a year old.

smaller girls
Kippah is on the smaller size too, she is short. She always weighed about a pound and a half all the way through the first 6 months. She is now 10 months old and weighs about 35 pounds, its looking like she will be about 38-42 lbs. and she just ran down the couch and landed into e and I a OK with her being on the small size!!!!!

she's gorgeous!!!my archie
she's gorgeous!!!
my archie weighed 54lbs when i got him at about 12-13 months...
17 months later(before he passed),when he was weighed for his surgery
he weighed 57lbs...i think they all vary...and i think it also depends on how
their sires were also...
smoochies the scunchy face!!!
My 5 month old girl
Chloe is almost 5 months old and weighs 32lbs. She is a bit fluffy though, so I'm going to have to start watching her weight. With my 2 boys, I always leave food down, Bean doesn't over eat and Jackson never eats unless you hand feed him, so I have never had to think about leaving food in the bowl all the time. I'm not going to really worry til she is more like 7-9 months, because she is a puppy and does need to eat more. She is a big girl though, almost as big as Bean, so maybe I'm just not used to a girl physique, compared to a boys rock solid muscles. She has curves!
