to the "new style", unfortunately. Many have gone over to Gary's "Porch" forum, and lots of the show crowd seem to be posting on The Bullyten. Unfortunately, people don't like change and they've opted to go elsewhere :( For me, I often cross post on a few different forums and catch different people, but this site is set up differently and it makes it hard to just copy/paste the same post--so I don't tend to post as much as before either. There are a lot of the old crowd who have FaceBook accounts and that's how they're keeping in touch--I've done the same. Hopefully it'll pick up again one of these days as this site has tons of great stuff to offer!

I find it a pain in the rear end to have to sign in each time I want to post... I have a hard enough time with usernames and logins that I have to try about 5 times to get the right one. Just not worth it most days. If I could just sign in and be in that would be fine, I'd be here but having to sign in all the time is just too much.

Lots of reasons:signing was a royal pain. Comments were twisted. Things get old. Very difficult to post pictures. Then people started interpreting what others would say and it became a way to discredit others even if the information was not true. A lot of potentially good friendships soured because others took things out of context and it just snowballed after that. But at least for me, when I started on BDW is was new exciting etc. then it started to become cliquesish. Well known breeders dropped off. etc etc etc. My prediction is that this site will fade off in the sunset like so many other breed groups. It's such a shame. I recommended it so many new puppy buyers as a source of good information.

Seems some posters that had useful comments were 'run out of town' by those that posted often, but really had nothing to say. At least that was what I saw happening and why I rarely visit anymore.

Mike I have to agree with you, I think the site will fade away and such a shame. Although I don't have puppy buyers, I have lots of people interested in bulldogs and I used to send them to this site as it was a wealth of information but now, it's like a ghost town. Very quiet and sombre. : (

I still think its the best of the best.....Still a lot of information on here that many new bully owners don't know. I still send my puppy buyers to this site. There's always the search to get some answers from some very smart and knowledgable bull dog owners.
Many didn't seem to make the change...

It's not the same
I really hate that the forum doesn't have as much activity as it once had. It's kind of sad.

sad but true 'then it started to become cliquesish'

OK
May I ask where everybody went??? They still have a wealth of information here if needed. I see the medical board seems to get more action.
