I just brought home my Mavis today.  The breeder had her vaccinated at 6 weeks, as well as wormed.  The breeder follows the 6/8/12 vaccination schedule per her vet.  We stopped at our vet and had her 8 week vaccination and was told the 6 week was a waste and we needed to start over following the 8/12/16 vaccination schedule.  He is of the opinion that vaccinating at 6 weeks does nothing as the puppy hs the immune system from the mother, and the vaccination did not include corvo...?  He also said he will deworm Mavis at the 12 weeks and 16 weeks.  It has been over 10 years since we last had a puppy.  Which method of thinking is correct?
