Rectal bleeding

I have a 9 month old bully female who since Thursday has had episodes of vomiting and since Sunday has had a lot of rectal bleeding. Have been to vet several times. He did X-rays which were negative and bloodwork ( no results yet) a snap parvovirus test which was negative also. She is playful and drinking and wants to eat but after eating vomits anywhere from 10 mins to 8 hours later. She is also at the end of her heat. Has anyone had experience with this? Vet is talking about doing surgery to run the intestine if we can't resolve the issue soon. I am beyond worried. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Barium Test

What about running a barium test. xrays don't always show blockages in the intestinal tract. what did he xray? Did it show gas?

Is she pooping? diarrhea?

Sounds like a possible blockage and you really don't want to wait on that too long.

What about closed Pyo? Are you sure it is rectal bleeding? Any kind of foul odor?

She has bloody diarrhea. He

She has bloody diarrhea. He took three views on X-ray. Two lateral and one chest. Nothing looked suspicious. He didn't think it was pyo. She took a flagyl this morning and did not vomit. I just fed her a very small amount of boiled chicken and rice after rest her gut for 24 hours.  Hopefully she keeps it down. She just keeps walking over to her food bowl and barking because she is hungry and I feel bad. If this is a blockage it isn't behaving like any other I have experienced. I will speak to vet about barium test. He should be calling me back any minute.. Thanks for your input I appreciate it

Virus ... Maybe she just has a really

bad virus. Lets hope that is all it is and she gets back to feeling better soon. If she is drinking and holding water down then it probably isn't a blockage.

She has held down two doses

She has held down two doses of gladly and two small meals. No blood in the diarrhea this morning so I think you were right maybe it was just a bad virus and hopefully we have turned the corner. Also all her lab work was normal too. So weird (and scary) how this stuff happens. Thanks again for your input
