We have this issue and......

...... we've never been given antibiotics for Tucker's anal glands. We bring him in to the vet when he scoots around and the vet expresses them. Sometimes I notice him scoot and before I have a chance to even get to the vet it releases itself.

Morgan had problems with her anal glands

We had them expressed many times and they always filled up very quickly. I finally put her on a grain free food and we haven't had any more issues.
