Limping

hey guys again I am posting!!!! Poor Conrad can't seem to catch a break we finally got allergies under control but Monday he started limping. I don't know if it's from when he came inside and slipped a little from the floor being wet. He doesn't seem to be in too much pain it's his back leg. Sometimes he's limping really bad and other times it's like he's totally normal. I've checked it so many times thinking it was his foot pads or nails but I can't seem to find anything and when I move it around he doesn't seem to mind. He jumps up fine on it and wants to play. But like I said sometimes he's limping bad and other times hes totally normal. Could this be a hip issue. I haven't brought him to the vet yet because we have been there every other week!!'

I would try and keep his activity limited.

No running or jumping.  Maybe even crate rest for a few days.

I totally agree...

he needs to be kept quiet for a week or so until it heals up completely.  We are going through this with Newman, he suddenly couldn't put any weight on his back leg, so we put him in an exercise pen made very small, outside to 'go' on a leash and absolutely no furniture or jumping/running.  He's a lot better, putting weight on it but still a little gimpy.  It could get worse if your guy is allowed to run around.  If it's intermittent it should heal with rest.

Thank you!!!! Hopefully its nothing so hard to keep him not running around but I'll go buy him some chew toys maybe that will keep him in one spot. He always wants to play!
