Hi, I am new to this forum. We have 2 bullies. LuLu, my oldest, is 11. She has had chemodectoma for 4.5years now. This week she has taken a turn for the worse. She is at the vet now. The tumor is pressing on the heart causing her to pass out if she eats or drinks too fast. She is in renal failure, has fluid on her lungs(not much) and a large kidney stone(that can't be taken out as she not a surgical candiate). I am afraid this is it. Does anyone have any experience with any of these? I am really scared. Any advice. Thank you .

Im so sorry to hear this...
it's always hard to see them failing. We lost our boy who had just turned 12 this summer. We haven't experienced any of these problems, but when multiple serious things occur, it's time to look at the quality of life that she has. They say that they will let you know when they've had enough and our boy did exactly that, going outside at 3 am and laying in the grass as if to say I'm done. Sending good thoughts for your girl.
Thank you. I was grasping for
Thank you. I was grasping for straws. Anything, but our vet told me this am, it is time.

So very sorry...
we've been through that several times and it never gets easier. But it's the kind and loving thing to do when they are suffering.
Very sorry
We are facing making the same heart breaking decision for our girl. She has severe arthritis of her spine. For the time being, her discomfort is being controlled with medication. Realistically we know each day is a gift and it won't be much longer before we have to make the same heart breaking decision you have to make for your pup. If it is of any comfort, we had to put down our male bully 2 years ago. He had an inoperable cancer. He lived less than a month after his diagnosis. He quit eating. When he started having problems breathing we knew it was time.
I can promise you helping them pass is one of the most loving things you can do for our pup. Horrendously heart breaking for us but such a loving gift for them.
