Happy bully

A few weeks ago I posted how my poor 9 month old bully (was then 8 months) had horrible diarrhea and wasnt eating her food! We finally figured out that she has an allergy to chicken! Right now she is on Prescription ID from the vet, but will probably switch her to Natural Balance the lamb and brown rice formula. Has anyone used that Natural Balance brand and have any opinions on it? Thanks!!!

We use Natural Balance...

we do the grain free version though, less likely to cause allergies.  We currently feed duck/potato and they also have a fish/potato that is good.  No problems with allergies and they all look great!

Yes, Kathy is right. It is a good food...

And make sure you stick with grain free for life!! Chicken probably isn't the only thing your pup is allergic to! When you switch, give the new food 6 weeks to really know for sure it is or isn't going to work. It takes about that long to get all teh old stuff out of the pups sytem, and trying a new variety before that will not give you time enough to really know if the feed is good for your pup.

Best Thing We Ever Did

We switched to Natural Balance, Sweet Potato and Vennison, Grain Free.  Jake has been a happy boy since and we have been thrilled as well.  It took a good month to get him back on the right track, but he is doing great.  Should have switched him when he first got here!  Hope this helps!
