anyone try apoquel?

I have been giving her benadryl when I see her scoot as needed but was thinking maybe claratin? not sure of the dose.. also I heard apoquel is very expensive and can make their immune system whacky..
Zyrtec works well...

My girl is between 35-37 lbs.. do u give once a day? dose? I have her on zignature lamb dry and zignature canned lamb and wellness lamb it only has lamb and water.. She shed like crazy on zig venison, ears gunky and chewing paws and scooting on zig salmon/trout and taste of the wild pac stream, chewed paws on taste of the wild boar.. on the lamb she just scoots... doc did her anal glands a couple of times he thinks its allergies.. I wonder if its grass cause sometimes after I take her potty she does it.. but not always.. she is much calmer on the lamb though.

I would start with that. We will sometimes give one at night too if she's really itchy. I think I mentioned Jess is 46 pounds. Fish oil is supposed to be good for allergies. One capsule daily. The gunk is yeast and you can get shampoos that will help with that.
