Yep...You can't go wrong with a commercially applied industrial coating with either an epoxy or acrylic base...
It cleans up so nicely and is so much more sanitary then porous concrete. We won't ever have exposed concrete again...

Re: garage floor sealant

We have a large dog room that was previously used as a garage to work on tractors and large equipment. (Very dirty!) Most cities will have companies that can put a sealant on your concrete. Ours looks similar to the Costco photo. We used Premier Garage. Here is the website www.premiergarage.com. I had another company give us an estimate also. There are several different products to use. Brian used a similar product in his dog area. It is so much nicer than regular concrete, which we had when we lived in Illinois. Easier to clean...they recommended cleaning with a 1:5 solution of clear ammonia.

I had my garage floor done through Costco

It was kind of expensive (I think about $3000 for a 3 car garage), but it's been a year and a half and it still looks like new. It's so nice to clean. I mop with bleach water every day and then pull the crates out for a thorough cleaning with a vacuum and bleach water monthly.

They have do-it-yourself kits at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. that work great for a lighter duty application. I did the floor at my last house myself and it was fine for the area where the kennels were, but it didn't hold up well under car tires.
