Anybody have a suggestion for some type of mat to put under a puppy pen or crate to protect the carpet underneath it? It needs to have a lip around the edge so spills don't just run off the edge.
Maybe I'm dreaming, but it would be nice to find something that I could move from room to room as needed instead of having to replace all of the carpet in my house with hard surface flooring.
i use a SUV mat
i have also used plastic carpet runner and ductaped the corners.

I use a plastic storage tub lid turned upside down.
I'd tried several different mats/rugs but everything let the floor get wet. I was at Target looking and had an epiphany! I bought a storage tub lid (had to buy the tub too) It's worked perfectly, the lip keeps the water from getting on the floor, they come in lots of sizes and they're CHEAP!
Hope it helps.
she has one, but they still get yucky under the pans
I LOVE MY PEN'S and Cathy now wants one too.

You can find them cheaper, but this is to show you. And the top can stay open.

Re: Waterproof mats/trays for under puppy pens/crates, etc.
you can try the self adhesive carpet film that is used at shows .. I've researched it and I'm told it can left on carpet up to 30 days and won't discolor carpet. .. doesn't give you the lip but you can always make your own lip by surrounding the area with bevel rods and encasing them in the film.
