is there a conformation show journal you can purchase to keep track of venues, judges, etc.you've shown to? I have one for rally & obedience and I've enjoyed keeping Dixie's show records and stats - would be nice to start one for Twister as we hit the conformation ring soon
thanks
Hi Jen...could you email me a sample copy of your
spreadsheet...just to see how you have it layed out?
Happy New Year to you and your family..Are you showing or running??
not just my bulldogs, but my heart & soul!!
Thanks Cathy - great advice!!
those are good things to keep track
I use the alphabet, too
I use index cards in binders, a card for each judge. I list placements for each dog I show, what type they seem to like, size/color preference if that applied, whether they were pleasant (especially with puppies), whether I need to dress up, and one or two have the honor of a big red DNS (Do Not Show) if I ablsolutely hated showing to them.

ooh! by alphabet is a great idea
I'll have to look into that one...thanks!
LOL!! Well, of course you do......
my "type A" friend! LMBO!! I actually made a journal for Twister's training, I already took notes in it from the handling seminar at nationals, so I may just use that if I don't find anything official
Book
I keep an alphabetic book (like an address book) and list the judges I have shown to and what type dogs they seem to prefer or who they put up that day. It's quick and easy to go back and look at if you see a show you might want to attend and do not recall if you have shown to that judge before.
I just have a spreadsheet....
