I have 2 pups that I really like. Puppy A, is very striking. Her color and markings are really pretty and everyone that sees the litter comments on her first thing. Her confirmation, in my opinion it the 2nd best of the litter. Puppy B, is probably the better puppy between the two in confirmation, but she doesn't "stand out" in regard to her color and markings like puppy A does.
How much emphasis, if any, do you all put on "flash", when trying to decide which pup to keep?
Both pups are spoken for already, but I don't think I am allowed to post pics.

Some people
have gone to my website. But I don't think I can post what it is, but my email address will give you an idea what to search for. I made my pick and posted her pic at the top of the page. Depending on who Nancy takes tomorrow, I may be keeping another pup.
pics?
Okay what do I do to get to see these pictures
I like ALICE
alot, she was not one of your picks, but she is very nice

Re: Here you go.
since I know less than nothing, I hate to muddy the waters.... I see why you are having trouble picking... they are gorgeous...
Alice has a beautiful "front" and her ears look more "rosed"... good thing I'm not picking LOL...

Here you go.
A is Holly and B is Jane. Although Alice is really coming along. The pics I have of Bertha are not very good and really don't do her justice. I glued ears today and will try to update pics tonight.
I snooped...
I like the second side view listed on your site I'm far from an expert, but she's gorgeous! All of them are nice I can see why you're having trouble
Re: If I could I would, no doubt...
hmmmm. Heather, can you post the "names" of the ones you are trying to choose between? :0) I'm really trying to learn what to "look" for. Your web-site is already tabbed as one of my "favorites" :0)

If I could I would, no doubt...
about it. I would keep 3 out of the 4 we had. But the owner of the stud gets a puppy and although she hasn't picked yet, she'll take one of the 2 that I asked about. But surprisingly, my "3rd" pick, is starting to come around, I guess only time will tell.
This is too funny...
I have told my husband for the last 2 days that I thought I was going to keep Alice too, if she isn't picked by the sire's owners. She is really starting to come around and I think that she will end up being nice. I had them all out in the yard today and was surprised to find myself really looking at her. Way to complicate things!
She was the ugliest puppy, she needed a rope lift. I use to call her Gonzo, from the Muppets.
when in doubt
keep them both! why do you think i am holding onto 3! LOL!

I'm Sorry
It's against the rules to post litter pics if you aren't listed as a bulldog breeder. Although, I could be listed, I've decided against it at this time because I really wouldn't consider myself a "breeder". I only had this litter because I wanted something to show of my own. If I had several litters/year and needed to place/sell puppies then I would be listed. Sorry, I can't show you them. But as soon as I make my pick, I will post the pics. It won't be too much longer!!

I like both pups...
Puppy A, is my favorite and puppy B is my husband's pick. One pup will stay with us and the other will go with the owner of the stud dog. So, either way, if they both turn out they will both be shown.
My goal in this breeding was to improve upon the turn of shoulder and depth of brisket. I am very happy with both of these pups in that regard. Puppy B is what I would desribe as being a "cobbier" dog than puppy A.
I do think that my Belle is a tad too long, but not so much that I don't like her, I just knew I wanted to bred her with a stud that was shorter in the back then she is. My question about flash, was more along the lines of being easier to remember in the ring. You know when there is 25 dogs and a third are red and white...I just thought it would help to draw attention to my pup.
Thanks for the input, I am trying very hard not to become attached to these pups to the point that I have a blindness when trying to decide upon my pick. It's more difficult then I thought it would be.

You can't go wrong if you go for conformation
Flash is great for some all breed judges, but if you're looking at the future of your breeding program, go for the best conformation. Feel free to email pics if you'd like...I would love to see your pups. marshillbulldogs@yahoo.com

forget the colour and look at the conformation
gosh
why are you selling your best puppies?
I think flash depends on the judge..especially those all breed judges that don't know diddly squat anyways.
when choosing a puppy color is the last thing
you look at, in the ring the judge should find the best dog not the best colored dog.
