Sue that is a nice setup you have created for your puppies. What is it you are using in the kiddie pool, how often do you have to change it out and at what age do you first introduce them to it? Thanks!!

Hi Richard,
They were in a Rubbermaid container with towels and a heating pad until they were almost 3 weeks.
They were moved to the pool when they really started to move around.
It's just a plastic kids pool that you can get at WalMart. There is a rubber mat under the shavings to help with footing. The shavings are dust free so they don't cause any breathing issues. When a pup poops you simply pick it up with a cat litter scoop. The shavings are changed twice daily because they do get wet with urine, but not soaked. Pups stay clean & dry.
A towel is put down over shavings at meal time so they don't get shavings in the food.

Was wondering what is in the pool and do you have trouble with them trying to eat on it. I have 2 litters comming soon and this looks much cleaner than what I do.

Re: New videos of Olivia & Bandit pups
pretty pups!!!! can't wait to watch them grow!!!
Dust-free shavings
Where do you get the dust-free shavings from Sue? Thanks!!
Livestock feed type of store
or maybe a pet store that has hampster shavings. We used shavings for the horse stalls but of course got them by the truck load.
Those are Debbie's St. Bernard pups
Shelly,
My friend Debbie is raising my pups because I can't get the time off from my new job.
Deb has been breeding & showing Saints for over 30 years. Bulldogs are her second breed.
She has 2 Saint litters right now. 2 litters of 5 pups.
