Thanks E! Victor and Toto were pronouncing his name like "kel-mes" and so that's how we call him. And he seems to respond!
I've always wondered what dogs from other countries have thought, to include the dogs we had for a while from the UK from Brampton and Sealaville. We felt that it took Jake, from Brazil, a time to settle down too.

Thanks, Carlos! I didn't know that he was named after a beer. Jake is still doing great (and has really settled down and made himself comfortable) and is my #1 priority for my class dogs going into 2010.

For everyone like me who does not know Spanish..
A lesson I learned ( I think)..Don't pronounce his name In English the way it's spelled.
Think "kil-may".
Am I right?

Good to hear that Jake is doing good.
He is a very cool dog and he just don´t know the meaning of "short walks". He just keeps going!
BTW, I hope that he "keeps going" STRONG next year!
