flip the first few pages to see the Bulldog and "Miniature" Bulldog listed. Looks like the book is from the 1915 San Francisco World's Fair "Dogs of All Nations Exhibit."

They were never recognised by AKC. They are extinct.
You can read about them in some old bulldog books that dedicate a few chapters to the miniatures. Farmans and the St. John Cooper books discuss them.

Up until the late 1960's, possibly early 70's
Classes were under 40 and over 40 in the Open class I believe.
