What do some of you all do in regards to 'conditioning' your Bullies? We do long walks & they play, run but is there anything else that one can/should be doing as part of a regular conditioning regime? Your suggestions/tips would be appreciated.

Roadwork on dogs over 12 months of age. If they are younger, keep it light.
They have to be spotless, and this is without make up. Dogs with powder covering dirt are just ugly. For show dogs with white faces and legs, keep these clean between the shows.
I am hoping that one day we will go back to the days when there was not so much of this powder and such. A light touch up is one thing, but I see powdering totally abused by some people.
Keep the coat brushed, do it every day.
Keep noses lubed up so they don't get dry and crusty.
If you have a good dog, great, but so do many people. Every edge helps.

Just like E said...lite work young and go at it more over 12 months. I really think that the dog food makes a huge difference for some dogs. Use a Zoom Groom. I swear by them for coats. Vit E oil on the nose works nice. Keep the nails short. As far as food...I always find Lamb and Fish based foods to be the best for bulldogs...that is just my opinion.
Thanks!
