Calculate 6 months?

If a pup is born 11/19 are they not showable until 5/19? Or are they not showable for 24 weeks? Which would be 5/1?

Wondering because I am trying to plan our shows.

and if they were born on Aug 30th?

I am assuming that they are considered to be 6 months old on March 1st??? (there is no Feb 30th)

The classes are 6-9, 9-12, and 12-18 months...it's the number of months, not the number of weeks.
