Hello Bulldog Friends,

We hope you will all join us this Sunday, July 15, for the annual BCGS Fun Match, BBQ and White Elephant Auction at Roy & Linda Gasselsdorfer's home in Sultan, WA! The event kicks off at 12:00 noon with lunch, followed by the fun match. The silent auction will be on-going throughout the afternoon. LUNCH - 12:00 NOON

Paul & Stephanie Admintchita are bringing their huge barbeque trailer, which means plenty of room for everyone’s food to cook at once. Bring your own meat to barbeque, or whatever other main dish you choose for yourself, and bring your own beverages. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share with everyone.

FUN MATCH - 2:00 PM

Registrations will probably begin around 1:00, with the goal to start the Fun Match at 2:00. All are encouraged to give it a try, regardless of experience. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about showing in a fun, casual environment. In past years, practically all bulldogs in attendance participated with their owners... a great learning experience for everyone!

To enter, bulldogs must be at least two months old. Classes will be broken down by gender and age. Spayed or neutered dogs are permitted. AKC champions are not permitted. Entry fee is $5 per dog. Our judge is BCGS member, Winn Ryman.

We will also have a separate Junior Showmanship class, held just prior to the regular Fun Match. The kids that have participated in the past have really enjoyed it, and always look forward to participating again next year. This is not a formal Junior Showmanship class. Instead, it's just a fun way for the kids to get involved and give showing a try. Entry fee is $5 per Junior.

WHITE ELEPHANT “SILENT” AUCTION – ON-GOING

Join in on this fun auction to benefit the BCGS general fund. Please donate any new or gently-used items from your home that you don't need or no longer want. Bulldog and dog-related items are preferred. One person's junk may be another person's treasure. You just never know what you might find!

WHAT TO BRING

* Bring your own meat to barbeque or whatever main dish you prefer for yourself
* Bring your own beverages
* Bring a side dish or dessert to share with everyone
* Bring donation items for the white elephant auction
* Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, pop-up canopy... whatever will keep you comfortable
* Bring an exercise pen or crate, unless you're fine with holding your dog on leash all day
* Bring water, treats, cool mats, cool coats, etc. to keep your bully happy and comfortable... it's supposed to be warm and sunny this weekend
* Bring poop bags to help keep Linda's and Roy's yard clean
