What do you all think of wearing walking shorts (dressy) for a show? I don't always follow the rules when it come to what to wear, but I think they would look nice?? Just wondering what you all think too...
I'm sure your walking shorts will probably look just fine but as for me I always wore classy conservative clothes. Slacks with a classic blazer and a crisp shirt tucked in. Maybe a pretty piece of bulldog jewelry and occasionally a scarf. I don't show any longer, but the above outfits stood me in good stead for 30 plus years.

I've seen plenty of female handlers of every breed in nice dress shorts/gouchos. Just look in any issue of the Bulldogger! You should be comfortable in whatever you are wearing and as long as your attire does not distract your dog, you will be fine.
I usually where something I can bend down in without my face turning beet red! Also something that doesn't crawl up my butt. So, I gues what I'm saying is, something that doesn't distract you from showing the dog! :)

In the winter I usually wear a jacket with a shirt or slacks or a suit.
But this is my LUCKY outfit. I've had my best wins in ths outfit. The shorts are linen so they wrinkle which I don't like but they are very comfortable.

maybe I will chance it too...I alway push the limits with clothing, I have worn "hooker boots" as my son calls them..haha
I have even had a judge tell me I can not wear them when showing bulldogs-I think she was kidding cuz she gave us best of breed and then in group Bean ALMOST tripped me and she was watching!! dang... but that was the only time i almost tripped in heals...
So I think I will try the walking shorts with flats!!
I'm WAYYYY too conservative....
