plus the skin didn't change texture and there were no bumps or lesions, it was just red. I also had one of those "AHA!" moments the other night; she has a bean bag type pillow she loves to bury her face in and bite. She goes crazy on it, and she was doing it at bedtime for a few nights to blow off some steam before going to sleep. She is SO rough on her face!

she only gets it in that one and the eye itself is fine, it's just the skin around it that gets red. Now it's fine, but it seems to come and go these past few days. Since stopping the Angel's Eyes I am definitely having to wash her face more frequently, I just realized that too. Now it's an every day necessity wheras before we could go every other day or sometimes even 2 days. I ownder if it's just a combo of things....

people get red puffy eyes if they are alergic to things I know. but I thought that was more like dust and things like that..... I am not sure if food would do it..but it might.

I have no idea what it was, it just looks sore. He is on grain free already but I am wondering if he might be allergic to the yogurt I just started giving them. Vet recommended yogurt for Zoey's staph infection and allergy ears. Cain loves it but I noticed the redness lately.....

to be seen by a vet looks like some kind of infection or something I am not an expert someone on here might have a better idea but that is really sore looking to me..
it's fine now, would that clear up with no treatment?

Cathy
when she first came home
It started in the right eye...
and now both eyes are red and kinda puffy.
I feel soo bad for him. He has a visit planned with his favorite vet so hopefully she can help him.
Re: you can kind of see how red it is in this pic
My guess would be demodex. It often makes the eyes swollen and red.
we need a crystal ball
keep us posted on the food change, i am considering it myself. Josie poops ALOT and that concerns me that she is not getting enough nutrition. J & T
you'd think it would be both eyes
