Tank is 10 months old. For the past week, at least 4 times he wakes us up in the morning and we hear him about to throw up. Once he vomits he is fine. He eats twice a day, at 6:00 AM and 3;30 PM. I know Bull dogs often have problems with this, so I would give him a few treats before bed. Maybe I have to give him more, I don't know. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can give him before bed to help with this issue? Thanks in advance.
oh oh I did not know that..
well at least you found something that worked for you

Mary, you may be feeding him a little early.....
I feed every 12 hours...I have a girl with reflux that will vomit on an empty stomach. Try feeding at 6 am and then 6 pm, with a treat before bedtime. I put a tablespoon of plain, fat free yogurt in each feeding to help soothe stomachs and make digestion easier. It also kills pretty much most of the gas:-)

you can try
feeding him later in the evening, around 7 pm, that is 12 hours apart, and then give him a few cookies just before he settles down for the night, he is throwing up because his belly is empty
Actually....
Spanky (if you mean my Spanky, I know ther are at least 2 on this forum) did not do well with yogurt. We found out later that he is allergic to milk(and a whole list of other stuff). He gets at least a 1/4 cup of regular kibble and his Pepcid hidden in about a 1" piece of turkey weiner at bedtime. That works great for him. Hooray!!!!
Feeding time....
3:30 p.m. sounds early for second feeding....wonder if giving it a few hours later would help.
try some yogurt
it really helps
a couple of tablespoons of plain yogurt does wanders
Spanky has the same problem on the board and that is what his MOM used too
I have used it when the dogs have an upset tummy as well
Thanks...
he weighs about 47 lbs. How much should I give him?
You might try giving him a pepcid before bed...
that will help soothe his stomach throughout the night.
