of the individual dog, but generally about 2.5-3 cups for young adults, and yes at 9mos old the dog has probably reached his adult height and will just "continue to fill out" so the total amount would be best divided into twice-daily feedings. Because this breed is somewhat "barrel-chested" and those dogs are designated as more likely susceptible to BLOAT (gastric torsion=twisted stomach)we feel that feeding two meals will digest better than one large one, as well as dealing with excess stomach acid production which some bullies have (often avoided by giving 1-2 small canine cookies at bedtime).
If you have an older dog (over 7yrs old) with reduced activity, perhaps concurrent with some arthritis issues, you may want to drop back to 2cups daily to go along with a more sedentary lifestyle and to maintain a current waistline.
1/2 cup x 4 times a day...
both my ladies have puking bile issues and this is the only thing that has seemed to solve it for us! we also walk them like 4-6 daily!
I do the same.. 1 1/2 twice a day

My old gal gets ~1 cup twice a day...and...
she gets one large or 2 small cookies midday plus some cheddar cheese (about 1oz) few times a week, egg once a week.
Sounds good!
I give 1.5 cups in the AM and 1 cup in the PM.
I give them both two dehydrated salmon pieces at night as a bedtime snack.
1 1/2 cups...twice a day.

Daily food measure is somewhat reflective of the activity
