Now we know what's wrong with her. I posted on general msg board, and we're pretty devastated. We'll see the specialist tomorrow to determine how much damage there is to her ventricals and atria. Her trachea/windpipe is totally pushed up out of the way, and her lung is pushed up, too, that's why she struggles to breathe. Her bp is high, naturally, and her resting heart rate is over 190. She is at risk for sudden cardiac death, so we must keep her calm.
Sadly, I can't take her to work with me because we have stairs (no elevator) and the vet says NO MORE climbing stairs.
I will let you know what the results are. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. We felt them.
