Came home to find my Lola licking the top of her paws and I noticed red soars in between her toes. First time i have ever seen this. She's been on meds for a 7 days ( NIZORAL & PREVICOX 227) Starting to wonder if meds are doing this to her. I have read to put Prep H on. Anybody have any other suggestions?? I've attached some pictures.
It's called an interdigital cyst and...
can be caused by many things including food. I prefer the Prep H because it's hard to get my guys to stand in a tub full of bleach or epsom salts. The Prep H usually works in a couple of days, use it three times a day.

Yep...its IDC's alright...
Soaking in warm water with some dissolved Epsom Salts might help open the bump (help it to drain without bleeding) and then after 5mins, wipe gently and put on a dab of Prep-H but don't let her lick off the medication. One way to avoid her licking it is to apply it just before you take her out for a walk for 10mins or so...which means doing it before the temperature drops to near-freezing! Epsom soak: Use 1qt warm water and 1/4 cup salts. Dissolve in small pan or large bowl and try to get her to stand with her foot in the water for 5mins. Mix 4x this amount in the tub and get her to stand in it. Epsom salts are available without Rx at any pharmacy.
