Roanne.. if your daugher has an xray to check trachea size..

it is very important that you wait unitl she has been completely healthy for at least a few weeks... the trachea can swell with pneumonia and if not given time to reside you will get a false reading. Also make sure this is a vet that has seen MANY bulldog trachea xrays :O)

Its also very helpful if another bully about same body size

can be x-rayed for comparison.

Get in touch...

...with a bulldog club near you. They may have a vet to recommend, or even one of the members be a bulldog vet!

Can't thank you enough for all the info you gave. I know Dixie could have been saved if we had only known some of these things. It's a shame that some vets don't know much about Bulldogs. I guess they don't know as much as we think they do. This board is full of information to help bulldog owners help their dogs live a long and healthy life.
