do not put any meds in it but I would leave it where he is all the time running.. I had to do with a very sick little pug and it worked well. I put her in a smaller room and left it on all the time..

If you have a dog that has clear, watery discharge from the eyes, a runny nose, or coughs with a liquid sound, use ACV in his or her food. One teaspoon twice a day for a 50 lb. dog will do the job.
I would use a cool mist ...vapourizer..
