Guess everyone's busy, or it's a dumb question. I've been giving Brother 2 to 3 TBS of crushed pinapple. Can't tell if it's workin' cause it's right from his pen to his xpen to poo and eat and p. So I watch him from my computer chair and go in once he goes and get it up.

it was so gross. my first frenchie Boo would run like a ghost is after him, but the new kid Baloo when he came home at 9 weeks, he would eat it. I tried 2 weeks on pineapple crushed about 3 tablespoon and mix in his food, it seem to help about on the 4th day i don't see him eating it. I asked the vet and she said they eat their poop because it is not properly digested so it still smells like dogfood to them. Or it could be a stage for some dogs, i really don't know, but i'm glad he's not eating anymore and he has a poop schedule so when he gets up at 7am i make sure he goes potty then feed him and off to work i go, he goes potty again after his meal at 8pm. I guess when they are puppies, they tend to go potty alot. You can ask your vet about the digestive enzymes and see if that helps.,

But my search turned up anywhere from 1-2 tablespoons of pineapple chunks 1-2 times a day. Results could take a few days. Unfortunately, there was also a thread that said it doesn't work on everybully. Another poster recommended adding probiotics to the food (I would assume that's from the theory that dogs eat their poop because they're missing something in their diet?).

I wish someone would answer this question too. My two will only eat it if they mess in the house...outside, they dont touch it. Im sure its because they know they arent supposed to do it in the house.

I'm trying it, I watch him like a hawk. Being our second pup since May, I have a couple things figured out, hope to get this one taken care of soon, Buddy hated his poo as a pup.
