just rub the eyelid gently, you can almost hear it pop back in, yes they do need to be put under to have it tacked, we opted to take her to a specialist. cherry eyes are a bully think,

you can try to massage it back into place, that works, my female has had one tacked and she sometimes pops one in the other eye, I just massage it back, what ever you do dont have it removed, it can cause dry eye,

I am the new owner of a baby english bulldog. She is 4 months old and her eye just popped, I know it is Cherry eye, I took her to the vet and they gave her cream and told me to try to massage it back down. Since then the other eye has popped twice but went back in by morning the first eye is bad it is running and full of puss. Her mom had it and got the surgery twice. My Vet called yesterday and said she could set up a consult with the specialst for me. A couple questions, any idea what the cost usually is (I just don't want ot get ripped off) she is the only specialst in our area. I have no problem paying it just wondering what is normal. Second do they usually guarentee the surgery as I know her mom had to have it redone. Would it be worth getting both eyes done and do they do 2 eyes together? Also better to just get it tucked and stitched back seems to be the concensus. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

it seems to help everyone and make it easier. My boy had it and after doing it a couple of times it never came back.
