Submitted by mrhig2004 on April 20, 2010 - 11:14pmwell, after a 20 day course of Baytril and lots of ear cleansing with Otoclean, Mr. Higgins finally has a negative swab result for his ear which had a heavy growth in early July.
I am very pleased we did not go the amikacin route.
Now we await the result of my kitty Lily`s ear which was also positive.
I asked my vet if there was a chance this could rear it`s ugly head again, and he said a resounding "yes". Oh sh--. I didn`t know that.
Thanks to Riann who sent me tons of info especially the Bella Moss Foundation.
