My friend Ellen told me about this ointment. A friend of mines Bulldog had one of these cyst on his foot and was taken to vet with no sucess. The ointment is called Ichthammol ointment by Goldline she got it at CVS pharamacy. She put it on a gauze pad wraped the foot up with tape put a sock over it and put tape around it so dog could not get off you are to leave on 24hrs to 48 hrs. She removed it in 24 and it opened up and blood drained out in her case it looked like maybe part of a foxtail might have been in it. I do know they carry it in horse suppy places. She said she is so happy her dog is no longer limping. Hope this can help you if your dog ever gets these.
