preferably coated variety...NO ASPIRIN-SUBSTITUTES!! and if this pup is under 30lbs I would give 1/2 tablet. Aspirin occasionally causes some upset stomach if given on an empty belly so try to get her to take a little food (fold it into a slice of cheese or not-heavily-salted lunchmeat if she won't eat her dogfood, and put the waterdish near her bed so she can get a drink later this evening if she wants...then let her rest, and if she's mobile in the morning, continue with a light schedule of activity for 2-3 days.

with this breed, so if she's breathing normally, her circulation (checked by her inner eyelid color, her gums and even her anus) if its all a normal pink (not white or very pale, not red) then we can presume its muscular strain and hopefully not anything more serious like a CNS issue. About how much do you think this pup weighs, and how old? Has the pup eaten dinner, drunk any water in the last 1-2hrs? With this info I might suggest something for pain.
Matilda is good today.. She got up this

Breathing, breathing and breathing are the immediate concern

can you pin point a certain leg? If you cannot get to a vet
tonight.. the best you can do IMO is as Jacinda said.. you could also put some ice on the leg if you can pin point it.

Re: we dont have one here in town
you can call them & tell them what is goin on.
can you give a little more detail.. can she use any limbs?
Check her gums and pull down her bottom eye lid.. make sure they are good and pink...

Re: i need help what do i give my pup for pain?
If this puppy cannot get up on its own & is in obvious pain, go to the ER vet.
Hi there
Is she limping?
in pain? or is she just tired?
