and what a beautiful girl she is! How old is she? It seems like she really recovered quickly, that is awesome! Audrey has tramadol from when she was attacked and for her neck, and it really doesn't subdue her at all. I know my vet gives liquid meds, I sure hope they work better at keeping her calm. I would LOVE to see more pics, I love her color!

I appreciate the info. I knew there was an Elaine involved with rescue and I wanted to ask some questions off BDW. I live in Reno and needed some resources. Thanks J & T

she has to be at the vets between 8 and 8:30. I am SO nervous! I think Josalicious is the CUTEST nickname! here is what we usually end up calling her: Puds, Puddin, Monkey butt, wuvvy, yuvvy, baby girl, baby dog, and OMG you are the cutest dog EVER

Puds, what a cute endearment. Endearments would be a great thread when the other board is back up. Josie has a few as well.......cutie potato butt, pumpkin pie, josalicious, and a wealth of other one timers. What time are you taking Audrey to the vet tomorrow? I will sure have her in my thoughts. that just makes me cry! That poor baby! To be so mistreated and STILL be a sweetheart makes her even more special. Please give her a big hug from me and Audrey (aka Puds)

she won the longest tail competition right here on BDW tee hee. she is still recovering as you can see from the photo. horrible mange and underlying skin issues secondary. she is the absolute most loving dog i have ever met. i dont say that because she is mine, but she is so loving and forgiving and HAPPY. she is incredible when it comes to being sweet and loving. everyone she meets just has their hearts stolen. i cant put my finger on it she just has a magical way about her. here is a pic when she was in the pound before rescue.....

from the tramadol. she takes it at night and then is just slowed down during the day. she is a rescue so we figure 2.5 years. She was a puupymill mom who was caught running wild and taken to the pound. her previous owner tried to get her back after i got her and they told him he would face criminal charges, he disappeared. lemme see if i have a few more pics......oh yah here are a few....

She takes one tramadol at night before bed and it keeps her pretty low key for the rest of the next day. she tolerates it well and makes me feel better knowing she isn't wanting to get wound up and run wild. I took the advice and made good use of her pain med. thanks J & T

My big girl got up and had a full breakfast, went outside and did her bizz in the snow no less, and then napped on the couch. She just got her "bling" on (collar) to go to lunch and to the store. she is pretty much back to normal. she had tramadol each night and that keeps her pretty relaxed. she didnt like the snow second time out (her first snow ever)so she did her bizz on my flagstone patio. oh well, better looking lawn in the spring. tee hee Glad to see Audrey is feeling better, she has to....... it's her BIRTHDAY. Just a side note.......Josie Louise has been really good about taking her meds, both last night and this morning. J & T
So glad to her that!

Glad to hear this!
But, remember. She still has to be on activity restriction to allow her insides to heal properly.
I had a hard time convincing Kano of this! lol
