Hopeful

I originally posted this on the general forum and now would like to ask for any information or experience with lymphatic cancer. My 15 month old bully is failing fast. Will the treatments give him a long life or is it just a delayed inevitable? I do not want him to suffer.

Very sorry for your loss

My thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of grief.

Randy sends his thanks for the condolences expressed.

He's grieving the loss of Bentley but wants to thank everyone for their kindness.

Condolences on Bentley's departure

but we know you had his best interests and your love of him so much that you wouldn't let him suffer. He will join a whole lotta sweet babes at the Rainbow Bridge. hugs to you

have you contacted any specialists

that deal with cancer?

Perhaps if you can post more details about the diagnosis here there may be some suggestions.

Thank You for your prayers

Thank You for all the prayers and thoughts for Bentley my Bullie. After receiving the final diagnosis and the outlook didn't look promising, he was in so much pain that he was laid to sleep this morning.

Does he have lymphoma?

Has he been seeing an oncologist? I did respond on the general forum, but I know someone who posts regularly on this site who had a female bully on chemo and she was in remission for 18 months and then passed from other causes. My boy survived 8 months. It depends on the individual dog I guess. I know of one border collie that is still in remission 5 years later. My boy was only sick for 3 days during the whole 8 months.

IMHO it may prolong his life but would not 'cure him'.
