she goes back to the vet for a recheck today
the pred works and glad about that
means no surgery required.
My vet has never used pred before on a dog for a hemotoma.
pred has some side effects..mainly inside accidents due to the amount of water they drink because of the pred.
Bella is happy and me too
thanks for all the support and help on the board with all this..
LIKE i said to the vet..they would not do anything about it anyh
even if the tail has been broken.
she does not like anyone touching her tail but that is just her..
she has been like that since she was a puppy
I personally think she was born that way and it stayed that way...way she is
the vet feels it might have happened in a litter of puppies..if they played rough. but Bella was the total quiet puppy of her litter.
when I came home I checked GUS tail and..
his is pretty straight actually a bit longer but fairly straight
but Bella has a very distinct turn in her tail to the one side..
do not think she broke it and kinda thought all bullies has somewhat of a crooked tail..
alot of them the tails turns inwards..do they not??
Both of mine have crooked tails...
Chester's is an innie and it swirls around in a circle but inside and he has one sharp point in there that I can feel. Ollie's is outside, but looks like a cinnabun and swirls like an S.
Kathy, Ollie and Chester
back from the vet..VET made a odd comment about BELLA's TAIL...n
today when the vet was checking over Bella for her hemotoma...which is all cleared up. she is winding down off the predisone and the vet feels she will be fine.
but she did a complete phyical on Bella. she was wandering if Bella broke her tail at one time or another. her tail has a definite bend in it..in the center and goes out. I thought that all bulldogs had crooket tails but looked at Gus and his is very straight..
do bulldogs have crooked tails??
