help with sick puppy

I have a 15 day old bulldog puppy that was brought to the vet on friday. she was breathing very heavy and not eating. I was told at the vet that she had Aspiration pneumonia. they gave her two injections of an antibiotic and also put her on Clavamox. She does seem to not be breathing heavy anymore and appeared to be better. My concerns are she does not seem to be eating enough still at all. also she has not pooped in two days. Is this normal and does anyone have any sugestions on how to get her to eat. i have even tried bottle feeding her. also i have weighed her and she has not lost weight but not gained either. But she is just not active enough to me. any sugestions will help. i am going to contact the vet again in the AM.

THANKS AGAIN

Yeah...Nutrical or a few tube feedings to get some food into pup

so it will get its strength back...needs to be hydrated too as that will make them very weak too.
Good luck!!!

Have you tried some Nutrical?

It's a gel that comes in a tube. You put just a dab on the nipple. Pups love it. It gives them a sugar boost...extra energy for nursing.

I know it's hard not to worry but I think she's doing OK if her color is good and she's not loosing weight.

Good luck,
Sue
