Hey, I know it is late, but my Georgia is 4 years old and has hives on her back and red raw skin and hair loss. Any suggestions what this might be and what I can do tonight about it?

try a paste of baking soda and water on each weal. It can help the itching. Don't put it on raw open sores, though. Maybe this will give her a little relief until you can have a vet look at her.

I had a bitch do this... could be either staph or an allergic reaction or it can be an allergice reaction to staph bacteria call a staph pyoderma but it doesn't look that bad from the picture. I'm not saying it is bad just really can't tell from the picture. If you only had spot of hair missing it could be hot spots or ringworm which is a fungus..... either way this works and helps relieve itching until you can get to your vet...... Fill the tub up with warm water put two cups of epson salt in the tub, mix and put her in it for 15 to 20 minutes... get as much of her body under water as possible work your hands over her entire body especially the raw or itchy spots..... for the rest of her body that you can't get underwater use a cup to constantly pour the water over it. Do not rinse off and do for three days in a row once a day... Even once you see the vet continue to do twice a week for two weeks then once a week for a couple of weeks. If works because I have done it......
Besides Benedryl, if she will let you and you can keep her from
