I've read of EB's having head shaking issues. My pup has had 3 times. First at his last puppy shot. Once since then and today. I let him out for six minutes, timed on the stove, and when I checked he was lying on the glider, shaking his head. I called him in and he stopped after 1 minute. It was 72 degrees out. He was gently scratching his white and we wiped them out with Vinegar, and water, and dried them a couple of nights ago. Any simple instructions? He is on TOTW food, pet+ tabs one a day, and Ivomectin for demo [seems to be responding the the treatment]
What areHead shakes
A name is Idiopathic Head Tremors, whether that iswhat it is I don't know, It is like a gentle shaking, that the dog doesn't even seem to notice. Sometimes in some dogs I've read causes ear flapping in it more severe forms. I'm gonna change his food again.

What are head shakes?
I hope your dog feels better.
Sorry for the stupid question, but what are head shakes?
It is simply the dog shaking his head side to side like he's say no? Also, is this something they continuously do for an extended period of time, or is any sign of that a bad thing?
I only ask because my dog does it time to time during the day, it only is like one rotation of the head and typically only when she has her color or harness on. I've never had a dog who hasn't done that, so I'm confused if this is what you're talking about or something else.
Best of luck with your bully.

Sophie developed head shakes on TOTW.
She had not had a problem with them ever before. I changed her diet to Natural Balance Fish and Potato and no more head shakes.
When your puppy has them, give a tablespoon of karo syrup, or a little sugar in his mouth...anything with sugar...even ice cream. Peanut butter has helped also. That will stop the head shakes. Also, distracting the dog usually stops them, but I am not sure why:-)
I would really look at changing the pups diet if it were me.
