has anyone use the trizchlor 4 shampoo and spray?

if so, is it effective to treat follicitis? my baby has been having this due to the mites and he has a negaitve with the skin scrapings so we need 2 more negatives, but the antibiotics he was is now resistant so the vet said to try this shampoo to bathe him every other day and use the spray everyday. Is this effective or is there any vitamins I can give him to boost his immune system?

Thanks.
Dee

Herbal Store

any herbal store should carry it. It used to be in Walmart but can't find it there lately. Onslow had open sores clumps of hair fell out and he was miserable and itchy.
If your boys aren't open and it's not making him crazy spacing out the bath should be fine. I hope he feels better soon.

where would i buy this? at a chinese herbal store or online

if online, could you provide the link. He has this skin problem when he was 6months and he just turn 1 this monday. I do have that shampoo you're talking about as well as hexadene and pyoben. Bathing a dog every other day when the skin issues is really not intense just some bumps could really make a dog sick I think. He just have some red bumps over his back that are in a scattered pattern and then the bumps fade away, he didn't lose any hairs, just sometimes there are a little bit of pus which pops on its own. I'm going to stick with bathing him once a week. He stays indoors and then using the spray i'm just scared that bathing him every other day which is giving him a bath 4x a week, i think that is too much.

When Onslow had demodex we used Chlorhexiderm Shampoo (vet suggested) which sounds very similar to what you are talking about. The baths really did help him.

My vet also said that we could give him Astragalus (people with immune issues take this the Chinese Herbal name is Fu-Zheng if you want to research it) to help boost his immune system I still give him that now even but it's really hard to measure how much it helps him. We haven't had any problems since but I can't say for sure that it's because of the Astragalus. Just thought I'd mention that its an option. =D
