I took Bella in to be weighed the other day.
she is 20 kgs so that is about 44 pounds..
she was 23 kgs so that is almost 48 pounds in the spring
the vet WANTS her weighed maintained. she is at her ideal weight
well the problem comes in that she is really playing these days
outside lots with her teaser ball..lol and so on
plays with the pugs all day too..
she is still eating the same amount of food...
do I try to increase her food to keep her from loosing anymore..
she will likely gain in the winter..is my thoughts...
NEVER heard of a bully that needed to stay the same weight..lol
Gus could loose a few pounds..no doubt.
think that Elaine had a good idea..
just increase her food a tad here each day for now.
she is not going to stop the excersise..no matter what I do..lol
she is really really in good health and loves to play
she will continue to loose on the amount of food that she if fed right now though..
hard to get the extra food into her she is not a big eater..
so will hand feed her the other little bit of dogfood at night..she loves to be handfed..

Why would she continue to lose weight?
Just keep feeding her what you're feeding, if she starts to lose - give her a little more, if she's gaining give her a little less or exercise more.

agree thinner is better...but......
I am really afraid that she will continue to loose big time here.
tried to add extra food but she is not really interested..
she LOOKS GOOD RIGHT now....even the vet could not believe the difference from the spring
she is super filling out too.....

In my opinion...
better to have a thin bulldog than an overweight one. I wouldn't worry at all about her losing weight - unless her spine or hips are visible your probably fine

forgot to add....
I do not want to decrease her activity level at the moment.
she is very active and loves to play..
and for the outside..the snow is on the way sometime soon..and the colder weather.....so slow down with the outside activity somewhat then..although she loves the snow too.
but inside...........she is just wound for sound..as the saying goes these days too.

Sometimes you only need to increase 1/4 cup to
slowly gain or maintain weight, so better than jumping up and down, see if she maintains, and if needing to add a little, suggest you do it for the evening meal.
