to be home with you. i had to sign a similiar agreement as well. just typical CMA stuff for liability reasons. but always good to know and have the emergency number handy. I don't think all dogs act a certain way but I noticed Josie just wanted to be in a drak quiet place with protection all around. she didnt settle down until i had turned off the teeweee and lights. just my experience. i cant wait to hear she is home and resting. so they won't leave dogs there overnight after surgery. I had to sign an agreement saying I am willing to take her to the emergency vet if she is unable to come home with me today, for whatever reason, and requires overnight care. thatwillnothappen,thatwillnothappen,thatwillnothappen....

she did fine though was glad when it was over. I called more then once to the vets.lol
I am surprised you can pick her up already today. I had to have Bella in the night before and then had to leave Bella there the day of surgery and pick her up the next day..

Thanks for thinking of me. I know she will be fine but I can't help but be worried. She was shaking violently when we took her in to the vets office this morning, she was so scared! There were 2 surgeries before hers, so they said it will be around 11 or 12 before I hear anything, and we can pick her up after 4. The nurse(?) said I could call anytime to check on her, and I said You probably don't want to tell me that! She said No really it's OK, so I said well might as well just leave me on the line then. Need to breathe.

I think I am going to keep her in her crate, but leave the back door open so she can go in her x-pen too. That way I'll be sure the other dogs won't bother her either. They will smell the vets and the boo boo and be sniffing to investigate.
Audrey will be so glad
