Glucosamine...

I have been giving my bullie glucosamine & chondrotin with MSM (human generic brand) 2 tabs is 1500 mg for prevention. Well, this morining he was doing just fine and as soon as I took him outside to potty, he starts limping. Could it be the tablets? He will be 4 yrs next month and he weighs about 75#. He also did not want to eat all his food like normal. I think he only ate 1/2 cup. Thanks!

Agree...most likely muscle strain
and weather can affect appetite. Don't give any 'pain meds' as that will 'mask' the evaluation of how much discomfort he is feeling...and pain itself,if moderate, can help him limit his jumping around the next couple days. Hope this all passes quickly.

I doubt it...
This is the dose I have Q-Ball on and he's the same weight and age.

More likely, I would think some kind of muscle strain. Limit activity (jumping off and on furniture, zoomies, etc) for a few days and see if there's improvement.
BTW - I also have Q on fish oil caps for the natural anti-inflammatories (although his glucosamine/chondroitin caps also have MSM).
