Has anybody tried giving to there adult bullies and have you had good or bad results?

I know every bully is different.

Thanks

Other than name...

you'd have to look at the ingredient list and see what is coming first, as the first few items listed are the largest quantity in the bag so you want quality in the first few ingredients.

good brands

what good brands were you trying...maybe I need to switch too. I am using NB, and Nature's Variety. Coats look. no itching, some stains though. The cost is $$$

Purina Pro plan

I have to say that this thread caught my eye. I have been told buy a few people on the dogforums.com that the only dog food that worked to firm up loose stools after using the expensive foods was purina pro! My cocker was on it for her whole life and lived to the ripe old age of 13 and never had any soft stool problems. Maybe there is something to be said for this commercial dog kibble. I'm tempted to try it!

We have 2 on the Pro Plan Salmon and Rice for

Sensitive tummies and they are doing good. No itching, staining and good stools. Both have nice coats. We have tried so many of the "Good" brands and one of our Breeders was feeding Pro so we tried it. Wish we had tried it a year ago.

We have tried Blue Buffalo (several flavors) Anything

Chicken was really bad for loose stools but the staining got better. Had Hot spots on and off with one dog. TOTW (Taste of the Wild) One had somewhat loose stools other 3 were ok but staining got worse on all. Royal Canine gave bad gas, staining and weight issues for 2 and the coats didn't have the shine. I just couldn't bring myself to try the cheaper kibbles (Pro isn't that cheap) because these are my babies and Well...you know! Cost isn't a issue.... Not when it comes to my kids!! So they are all doing better on Pro but I had to scale my boy back on his portions because he was doing a little to good. He's still hungry so I throw in some Green Beans (NO SALT) and he's happy! We also give a Equate brand anti-acid after each meal. It helps with Stains and Gas (Except for Major who gas is legendary ;( My Vet recommended the anti-acid to help with those that tend to yak up a little everytime they eat. Give it a month and you"ll see those stains start to disappear. Hope this helps get past the "Stigma" of feeding poor dog food. If they thrive on it...who cares!
