So after the eye issue, now maybe a ear issue?
He has been scratching his right ear more than usual. Not sure if it is the ear cleaning solution that the vet gave me to clean his ears. The vet put some in his right ear last Sat to show me how to do it. Since then I did not use it. But now he kept scratching it. I use cotton to clean the inside but it is not dirty.
So the solution is irritating him? I think it is nothing. Maybe I am just being overly paranoid. Maybe it is just normal scratching.

fhe vet gave me some ear solution here..you put in the ears
and if it the summer..let the bully shake it out of their ears..that soften everything so you can clean it better
in the winter..add it to a cotton batton ball...and really scrub inside the ear..you have to have lots and lots of solution there to get it done
also avoid getting his ears inside wet from an outside source if you can..that helps with the ears too.
ONE of the biggest issues I have here is with the dogs cleaning each other ears and that is not likely a good thing at all.
Ear care
Our vet gave us Motomax drops to put in my ears on a regular basis to avoid ear infections which I am very prone to - my ear canals are very twisted around evidentally. I use 2 drops each day or so - so far all has been working.
i have that issue too...
my older dog loves to lick all over my bullys face and ears.. at first, it was sweet and cute.. but now i realize that this is where half of my bullys wrinkles and ear issues start!
i also rub in a little annimax or ottomax if the ear appears irritated or infected.. that usually clears it up.
Ok thanks! I will...
not drip the liquid into his ears. I think the cleaning solution is stuck in there or something. His ears look clean and pink. They always have a smell but never irritate him until the cleaning solution.
I will just use the cotton wet with the solution to clean once a week.

you gotta really get in there sometimes...
i dont drip the cleaner into the ear like the bottle says.. i use the flat cotton squares and i put the solution on there first, then clean the outside of the ear, then i take another and stick it in her ear, fold down her ear, and massage it around from the outside (i figure its loosening up the wax this way), then i take another- then use my finger behind the cotton to go around all the dips and crevices in deeper in the ear.
i think with the dripping method, sometimes too much will get stuck in there and wont be able to get shaken out by the dog and will cause irritation. if you still dont see wax after doing it this way, then ears are still clean... i clean my dogs ears like once a week.
i dont really like the smell of the ear cleaner adn my other dog likes to lick the inside of my bullys ears, so i do a quick once over with a wringed out wet rag to just get rid of any excess chemical left there.
Maybe toby accidentally knicked himself while scratching his ear with his nails? look in his ear to see if you see any cut or open wound first before using the ear cleaning solution. ears should be pink and clean looking inside... if its all irritated looking then, maybe it is the solution or maybe its an ear infection?
