this afternoon got a call that my son will be home tonight around 10 pm or so. he was to take a train from x to z and then my other son is going to pick him up and bring him home.
he left the tug at 6 pm.
at exactly..6 pm Bella started to zoom all over the place
got into all kinds of toys to play
excited beyond anything you have seen
she is just settling down now for a bit
gotta wander if they feel the excitement in us ...
last time she did this ...just before he got back home too.
she is fit to be tied tonight and normally this is HER Nap time..lol
bulldogs are very interesting creatures..
but I truly wander if they react to the way we feel
and feel the same way we do
any thoughts?
Yep!
Mine know my emotions pretty good, when I am sad, they will just hang their head on my lap and gives extra kisses!!
much bully love~Christine, Dupree, Marley and Savannah
oh yes....
my boys no when i am stressed or feeling blue...they just sit next to me and give comfort....
absoluetly..
Junior watches us like a hawk to see if he should be worried about anything. Roxy stayed in bed with me the whole time I was ill with kidney stones. She never once whined at me to get up and let her out or feed her. She just stuck to me like glue.
I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.

Yes
I believe all dogs feel our emotions. When I was in training with my GSD I was told everything runs down the leash to the dog.
I think thy do!!
yea here too...
they hang really close if I am upset..
when I have a stressful day...both of bullies do the same thing.
just stay very close and cuddle..
I believe they do sense our emotions too
hmmm yea that is very true......
the more relaxed you are training too
the better relaxed the dog is as well
good point
yes maybe Penny..she was for sure wild with excitement..
it was the playing that got to me the most
she is usually playful but not this playful..lol
she was wild wild wild..running all over
on top of the couch, then on the floor and rolling on the floor and all over the place.
Absolutely.
I believe they do yes
they react to our every mood, she must be feeding off of your excitement, I am so happy to hear your son is coming home tonight, make sure and take lots of pics with him & Bella
