calm coat question

So I just got my first bottle of calm coat and I have used it twice already and Spanky seems to be really freaked out by it I don't know if it's the smell or what he is feeling. He just keeps walking around he won't sit or lay down he just seems very restless, has anyone experienced anything like this, I wonder if I should stop using it?

I don't know. I used it on Bobo and he didn't seem to have a problem with it. I sprayed it on a cloth first and then patted it on him. It does smell pretty strong.
