My vet always tells me to give 57mg of benadryl. He is 44lb. Does that sound like a lot of benadryl? I do trust my vet. He said he can easily have that much. I use the liquid bubblegum one to easily calculate the dose.

It just might make him a bit sleepy...and if he's prone to any dry-eye you may need to add 1-2 drops of artificial tears for his comfort (antihistamines tend to dry-up mucous secretions). Poor boy...he's had his fill of stings!
