anyone tried to dehyrdrate their own treats???

finally a treat for Gus. I bought some dehydrated...beef strips..he loved them. yes finally. I bought them at a bulk store and they are 100% beef.

wander how hard it is to dehydrate my own beef..or other things??? anyone tried to do this??

I wander though if buying the beef, then cutting it up and then so on.if you would actually save any money in the long run.

I can see it being a very healthy treat for Gus though...

hard to believe I finally found a treat for him ...amazing.. never met a picky dog for treats until Gus..lol

how long does it take??

YES.... chicken and bananas, etc

I buy the boneless,skinless chicken breasts, slice them up and just place them on the dehydrator... works great. Bananas too, as well as Pork tenderlion, my dogs love them all and it is soooo much cheaper than the kinds you buy in the store.

We dehydrated sweet potatoes for special treats. Way cheaper than
purchasing the sweet pot. treats from the store! Our dog LOVED
