Any suggestions are appreciated .

My babies are now 8 and a half weeks . I have been having trouble with very loose stools . They have been wormed and also been on Albon but still they are loose . I know I am not over feeding ,in fact , I may not be feeding enough . They only get a little over a 1/3 of a cup 3 times a day . The food I feed is Canine Caviar Puppy (chicken ) . Is this food to rich ?

I sure would like to get any feed back on this .

Pauline

pups

I have 3 pups and they are all staying with me ( greety....lol)

Dont you think that amount that I am giving them is kind low now ? I will also try the cooked rice or what about baby rice cereal ?

Helen , I will try the benebac .......I have some of that .

Hi Pauline, could the albon have killed off all the bacteria in

so they need Benebac or straight acidopholus (get at a health food store kept in the refrigerator) this is better than yogurt as it is more concentrated.

I'd also suggest you change food

and try the standard of adding a bit of cooked rice to their diet to try to firm them up. I would feel very uncomfortable sending a pup to a new home if his food intake wasn't established/consistant.

Hard to say

Maybe, but the food I'm giving Brother is close in protein and fat, but 97 less calories a cup. I'd try a little less, or change foods.
