I empty them in the tub during bath time. It's quick and easy and that way I don't have to worry about leaks in my bed... on my pillow.

kibby has always had firm poo... so i think we are good here as well. next time we stop by the vet, i will have him double check it! thanks!

You don't want to do it wrong and cause a blockage or rupture. Put on the plastic gloves and have the vet show you how to do it correctly. Once you know what to feel for and how to do it, it's easy. It is fishy smelling, so I do it in the bathtub where I can quickly rinse it away.

I do have one dog that I never express. His stools are firm enough that when he goes potty they empty on their own.

I haven't had to deal with this with kibby yet, although i do smell something when she accidentally sits her booty on the seatbelt buckle in the car! its kinda squidy smelling, right?

I try to "press" while i clean her bootyhole in the bathtub with a towel, will this do the trick? or is there a special way you have to pinch or squeeze it?
